Hanoi has truly shaken off the winter hibernation. The city is alive with events this month and it has started to almost be impossible to keep up with what's happening. Synergy this month launches THREE events that are going to be fairly unique.

On the 12th of May, we host the first House Sessions party. To be frank, we simply got tired of hearing the cheesy house music in the city and decided to throw the gauntlet down and attempt to take party goers on a journey of house music. Bring the glow sticks, whistles and PLUR attitudes. 

May 19 sees Synergy introduce two recently added bands at Synergy Live, Yo Chi! have been hitting the old quarter with vigour in the past few months. After seeing them perform early in April, we could not let them go unoticed. Expect superb musicianship and phenomenal stage prescence. Also debuting are a new outfit 'Divine Monkey Empire' - there sound ranges from folk to 70's rock. They will both be supported by Zamina, Machete.Sex.Mix and Hi Jinks. 

To end the month of May, on the 25th we host what we think is the first Psytrance night in Hanoi. The majority of our dj crew oddly enough have their roots in psytrance and after much worrying if Hanoi will take to it, or whether anyone would even show up, we decided 'fsck it' - lets just pull into Hanoi Rock City, plug in and let rip.
